Yabatech Post UTME 2014 Result is Out.

How to CHECK your Post UTME Result, follow this steps.

 



1) Visit www.yabatech.edu.ng (From a Computer or OS Phone)
2) Click Post UTME 2014/2015
3) Click Login
4) Click Post UTME Applicants
5) Enter Your JAMB Registration Number as username and enter your surname as password.
6) Click Login
7) Click on Post UTME Result

Yabatech Post UTME 2014 Exam Schedule is Out.

This is to inform the public that the 2014 Post UTME Exam Schedule has been released and its available online. Candidates should visit The College Website to print their exam schedule. Kindly read the instructions below:


Candidates are to come to the Examination venue with the following:

1. Original HB Pencil
2. Eraser
3. UTME Result slip print out
4. Coloured Post Utme Exam Schedule Print out
5. Online Payment Receipt

NOTE:
Parents are not allowed to come with their wards to the screening centre.
Candidates and parents are not allowed to come into the college premises with their vehicles.
Candidates are not allowed to come into the screening centre with their phones and calculators.
Candidates are not expected to be seen around the college premises except on the date and time for their own screening.
Candidates caught cheating / impersonating will be disqualified.

Second Semester 2013/2014 Part Time Examination Shift in Date by One Week.

This is to inform all Part Time Students that the Second Semester 2013/2014 Part Time Examination earlier scheduled to commence on Saturday, August 23, 2014 has been moved to Saturday, August 30, 2014.

The postponement is required in order to attend to some logistics which are crucial to the success of the examination. Please note that the examination time table remains structurally the same.

Extension of Registration for 2013/2014 Academic Session - Full Time Students

This is to inform all Full Time Students that the 2013/2014 registration for all Full Time Students has been extended by 2weeks effective from Monday, August 11, 2014.

Consequently, registration for the First Semester 2013/2014 Academic Session will close on Friday, August 22, 2014. All Full Time Students are hereby advised to take advantage of this opportunity as penalty will be paid by those who failed to register by the deadline given above.

Please note that this extension would not affect the academic calendar for the session.

Yabatech Post UTME Form for 2014/2015 Admission is Out












This is to inform all Candidates who have chosen Yaba College of Technology as First Choice or Second Choice and also score 150 and above in the 2014 UTME that the 2014 Post UTME screening excercise will hold as follows:

  Friday 5th & Saturday 6th of September 2014.

Registration will commence from 4th August 2014 and close on 2nd September 2014. 

METHOD OF APPLICATION
All candidates should visit the College Website at www.yabatech.edu.ng Click on Post UTME 2014 and complete the basic details. Pay the sum of N1,500 for the Post UTME/Online Result Checking & N1,000 for Past Questions using their ATM Card by clicking "Pay Now" then follow the procedures (Note that Bank Charge is N300). Candidates are advised to supply correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any personal error made during the registration. In order to avoid error, Candidates can also apply direct through us by following the instruction listed under the PROVISIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT. Candidates without ATM Cards & those that are finding it difficult to apply or pay online should also follow the procedure listed below to apply direct through us.

Postponement of 2013/2014 Second Semester Part Time Exam

Please be informed that the Academic Board at its Emergency Meeting of 6th August, 2014 directed that the 2013/2014 Second Semester for Part Time Students be Postponed by Two Weeks.

Consequently, the 2013/2014 Second Semester Part Time Exams will commence on Saturday 23rd of August 2014 and end on 20th September 2014. Students are therefore urged to take advantage of this shift in date to adequately prepare for the Exam.

HND FULL TIME FORM & ND/HND PART TIME FORM FOR 2014/15 NOW ON SALE
Registration is expected to last till November or December 2014 but the earlier you register, the better for you.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
General entry requirements for National Diploma (ND Part Time) See Requirements Here
SSCE/NABTEB with at least 5 credits at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and 3 other relevant subjects. NOTE That ND Part Time Programs does not require UTME Subjects.


General entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND Full Time & Part Time) See Requirements Here
SSCE/NABTEB with at least 5 credits at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and 3 other relevant subjects plus a relevant National Diploma at not below Lower Credit Grade of 2.50 CGPA. NOTE That HND Full Time & Part Time Programs does not require UTME Subjects.

Resumption of Academic Activities For 2013/2014 Full Time Session

This is to inform all students that the Academic Board at its emergency meeting of Wednesday July 16, 2014 resolved that academic activities for 2013/2014 have resumed with immediate effect for Full Time students. All Full Time students are therefore informed of the commencement of the 2013/2014 academic session.

New and Returning Full Time students who have not completed their registration for the academic session are advised to complete their registration on or before July 25, 2014.

Lectures will commence on July 28, 2014 and there will be no extension of the academic session. All student's social activities for the academic session are suspended in view of the time lag.

ASUP Strike Suspended, Polytechnics to Resume on Tuesday

The Academic Staff union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its 10-month-old strike.

The strike, which started in October 2013, was suspended on Saturday morning at the National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the union held in Abuja.

The National Publicity Secretary of ASUP, Clement Chirman, confirmed the suspension of the strike to PREMIUM TIMES.

He said all striking lecturers have been directed to resume work on Tuesday.

The ASUP NEC meeting was held two days after the leadership of the union held a ‘fruitful’ meeting with the new Education Minister, Ibrahim Shekarau, who was sworn in by President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday.

The ASUP NEC consists of all chapter (polytechnic) chairmen of the union and the national executive of the body.

Second Semester 2013/14 Part Time Registration: Appeal for Re-Opening of College Portal for Printing of Course Forms

This is to inform all Part Time Students that Management has granted approval for the re-opening of College Portal from July 8 to July 20, 2014 to enable the students who are yet to print their course forms to do so.

All affected students must pay a penalty fee of N5,000 Only as late registration fee. Please note that this is the final approval.

This is to inform all Part Time Students who are yet to complete their second semester 2013/14 Registration with the assistant school officers that the management has granted their appeal to complete their registration on or before Sunday July 20, 2014.
